A new 26mm quartz model enhances the 62GS lineup with the option of a discreetly elegant size. The original 62GS launched in 1967 and debuted Grand Seiko’s first automatic movement, becoming one of Grand Seiko’s most memorable timepieces. Reinterpreting this timeless design, this model uses a dial that expresses the unique seasonal changes of Japan. It evokes hana-ikada , the beautiful “flower raft” scene in which cherry blossom petals are swept from their branches by spring breezes before settling on river surfaces. As with the original 62GS, a bezel-free construction grants the dial an expansive appearance, with the Zaratsu polishing technique creating a striking, multifaceted case design.
